Quail Farming Process

Quail Farm
Rearing of Quails is as simple as rearing chickens and other types of birds. However, Quails do not incubate their eggs. This calls for the use of other birds like chickens to sit on the eggs till they hatch or otherwise use of an artificial incubator. Proper hygiene should be given priority when rearing these types of birds. Quail bird will do well when proper conditions are provided including among them a proper proportion of food and a dry house to live in.The Quail house should measure 0.6m by 1.2m in length with a height of about 0.25m per 50 quails. Light and fresh air should be able to flow in and out of the Quail house. This is made possible by the use of a netted wire to build part of the house. Quail farm should thus be maintained at high standards for best results.
