Life Span of Goat: Goats need about 1 year to become matured from goat kid, and ready for sale. Female goat starts giving birth of goat kids at this age. They become pregnant and give birth twice a year. Usually two goat kids are born at a time. Therefore, a female goat produces 4 kids in a year. It is obviously a profitable production rate.
